About the event
About this event:
Explore a pattern from Islamic traditions – in particular a twelve-fold pattern, while enjoying food and drinks at Moroccan Corner!
During the session we will use a compass and ruler to create a geometric pattern template. We will transfer this to watercolour paper and create a painting for you to take home with you.
The pattern we will be creating is pictured.
Equipment and materials will be provided during the class.
No prior experience is required.
Suitable for ages 16+
Each ticket includes a £15 voucher to put towards food and drink of your choice. A menu will be emailed to you ahead of the event.
The class is suitable for someone who has never taken a geometry class before or for someone who would like to refresh their skills. You will be taught the basics and will be able to practice using the compass before working on the pattern.
If you have tried geometry before, this class is a great refresher and a chance to try learn a new pattern.
