Islamic Geometry for Beginners - looking at this star and hexagon pattern
Join us at Cass Art Birmingham on Sunday 2nd April to learn to draw and paint this pattern - no previous experience is necessary.
During the session we will be using a compass and ruler to construct a geometric pattern template and we will go through the process of transferring and repeating the template on to watercolour paper. The pattern we will create in class is pictured.
The last part of the session will be an opportunity to explore painting techniques so you can create your own piece of work to take home.
Equipment and materials will be provided during the class.
No prior experience is required.
